Mission

Top Prospects is an indoor baseball training facility in Brevard County that provides quality instruction to young athletes. Our mission is to effectively teach students the skills that will guide them towards success on the field, and also throughout life, teaching them the significance of teamwork and individual responsibility. Private lessons for pitching, hitting, catching and fielding are available.

Top Prospects is opened year round in a 5500 square foot indoor air-conditioned facility. The facility is equipped with three batting cages, two pitching mounds and all the necessary equipment needed to instruct our students. Our qualified instructors played professional baseball, college baseball and have coached at all different levels.

Pitching Instruction:

Basics to advanced mechanics
Speed Changes with Changeup and Breaking balls (depending on age)
Mound work with personalized instruction
Mechanical drills for home practice
Mental game and pitch selection in certain situations
Proper warm up, shoulder care and how to get ready to go into a game
Videotaping and critiquing

Hitting Instruction:

Basics to advanced mechanics
Tee work, soft toss and live throw
Bat selection and grip
Drills to increase bat speed
Proper stance, stride and swing
How to recognize different pitches
Videotaping and Professional Analysis Software System.

Top Prospects also offers fielding, catching, throwing and softball pitching lessons.

Our Programs:

Individual lessons are approximately 30 to 45 minutes long
Group lessons are approximately 45 to 60 minutes long
Camps held at Top Prospects or your location
8 week Beginner Classes (ages 5-7) and Minors Classes (ages 8-10)
Strength Class for shoulder care for pitchers and position players, with plyometric boxes for explosion and agility routines
Batting cage and facility rentals for individuals or teams
